I had forgotten what it was like to be truly sore. it hurts great.

I missed a couple days of workouts due to a wedding- and it has been difficult getting back in the swing of things. but tonight I was running around on a soccer field, tossing around a frisbee and feeling so good about allowing myself to run nearly full tilt.
Let’s keep going!

Now that I’ve started doing these workouts for the second time- I’m finding that I can keep up with the people in the videos so much better- The yoga x last night was … well it was by no means easy, but I didn’t have to cheat through certain spots of it, and I like that.

Also- I think my posture has improved, i’ve had a couple of people say I look taller- and i’m 6’3//6’4 so that’s an interesting observation.

One of the biggest changes I have found is that when I give 90 minutes of my free time away to the workouts, the rest of my free time appears to be more meaningful. This is really turning into a lifestyle change, not just a simple movement to get healthier.

Well.

Yesterday I walked past my mother as I returned from work. She had this to say
“you aren’t going to like hearing this, but your clouds aren’t fitting anymore.”

I liked hearing that.

Doing it all.

I worked this morning from 8:30 until 2.

And I have a meeting to go to at 5 and then I work a physical labor job from 6-10.

So- I had 3 hours to rest between jobs.

I used one of those to do Plyometrics.

I’m going to hurt later tonight, but it’s all worth it. This whole “new me” is kinda fun.

onto week two.

So i’m now onto the second week of p90x and so far it has been great-

Not great as though I can keep up with the workouts- that I really can’t manage, but I’m doing it, and I can already feel that my body is getting used to the added pressure.

The program has you do an ab workout called abripper x every other day. The first time through, it really really really killed me. It still really kills me, but I’ve at least eliminated one or two of the reallys.

I can still do better on the diet side of things, This week will be better.

I wear a belt for my work uniform- and that belt has the classic knotches.

I have been at the last knotch for a month- but as I’m pulling the belt to find the knotch that fits the best- I find myself pulling past the last one.

consistently.

progress.

moving along

I did yoga x for the first time last night, and my body moved in ways it had never done before, there were a couple times I was looking at the screen and asking “i have to do WHAT?”

but it was good, I made it through, and I think I am already getting results, - not that they are very evident from the outside, but I am definitely feeling them internally.
